Practical Guide about PAD

↪ Canadian Foundation for Vascular Health WHO ARE WE? Founded in the fall of 2014, the Canadian Foundation for Vascular Health (CFVH) is a non- profit corporation. In 2017, the CFVH obtained its status as a charitable organization from the Canada Revenue Agency with the goal of supporting patients who are at risk of developing or who have peripheral artery disease (PAD). Using this practical guide, the Foundation’s objective is to help individuals with PAD better understand their disease, how it develops, its consequences for their quality of life and how to prevent and treat it. WHO IS THIS GUIDE FOR? This guide is basically intended for patients with PAD and their families. Healthcare professionals working with PAD patients may also benefit from the information provided in this guide and earn education credits. The CFVH encourages all individuals with PAD signs and symptoms to consult their healthcare professional. DISCLAIMERS This guide does not replace a medical consultation.
